Are you a serious pet care professional with a loyal client base of pet parents who rely on you to care for their fur babies while they're away from home?

This Pet Family Care Specialist position is a full-time role with a compensation package that includes full benefits, 2 weeks paid time off, and a stock option plan.

Key Responsibilities

Beyond walking, sitting, and other typical in-home pet care duties, the Pet Family Care Specialist will work together with 3 other Specialists to manage pet parents logistical responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and ordering pet care supplies.

We are a new startup thats also developing our own pet care management platform, and Specialists will help with company-building projects such as developing standard operating procedures and employee training programs.

Qualifications

You have to have these, no wiggle room:

  • Pet-sitting / dog-walking / grooming / training / other pet care services clientele who will follow you to this opportunity. They must represent at least $1,200 in provable monthly billings. That tells us plenty about your professionalism, reliability, trustworthiness, client relations skills, and proven ability to care for pets in their homes.
  • Current pet sitter / dog walker / other pet care services liability insurance.
  • Proven ability to efficiently learn new software applications.
  • Proven experience proactively contributing to a team.

  • Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid certification
  • Fear Free® certification
  • Pet Sitter International (PSI) membership / Certified Professional Pet Sitter certification
  • National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) membership / certifications
  • International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) membership / certifications
  • Strong knowledge of animal behavior and health care.
